My Background
I cut my cyber teeth in 2004 with a 5 year enlistment in the Marine Corps. As a tactical network operator, I ensured networking, operating systems and cryptography devices were swiftly deployed and working properly in our theater of combat.
I would go on to work for the government in support of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) in various roles including: Endpoint Protection (Symantec, McAfee), SIEM Engineering (Splunk, Arcsight), and Vulnerability Engineering (Tenable, HBSS).
In 2015, I found my calling in Human Risk Management and have been building and optimizing Security Awareness and Technical Training programs into robust, data-driven and human-centric Human Risk Management programs ever since.
